Recruiter ( Full Time) and Recruiting (Internship)
Join a fast growing boutique finance and accounting recruiting firm with an excellent reputation in the Houston marketplace for doing what is right for both the candidate and client. We have a great team and are looking to bring on another individual. This team member would work with our existing clients where there is plenty of business by screening and matching strong candidates with open positions. The ideal team member needs to have a sense of urgency, good time management skills, and the ability to constantly re-prioritize tasks a few times daily, in addition to being a quick learner, persistent, and a hard worker.

• Support a team of senior recruiters by performing research and inputting data
• Manage postings on major job boards such as Monster, CareerBuilder,etc.
• Pre-qualify candidates via phone screens and assessments to ensure the most qualified candidates are presented to the client for consideration
• Effectively source candidates/clients through Internet research, internal database, cold calling, referrals, job board scraping, networking and various other search strategies
• Network with passive candidates to build positive relationships
• Develop and maintain a list of open jobs from the internet along with the correct hiring authority and phone number
• Performs detailed reference checking and/or reference analysis on selected candidates.
• Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring managers interactions

Required Experience:
• Recent experience in either an agency or large corporate environment, which includes coordination of the full lifecycle recruiting process, or sales experience is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees within our organization (verbally and written);
• High attention to detail orientation with strong organizational and problem solving skills;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and fast typing skills.

Education: Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred or experience within a large corporate HR environment in lieu of degree.
Travel: Minimal (only to interact with candidates and clients within Houston).
