Position Title

Software Sales Intern (part-time, with flexible schedule)

Position Summary

The Software Sales Associate is a sales intern is primarily responsible for sourcing and qualifying new prospective customers, as well as support the prospecting efforts  associated with marketing events, such as webinars and field marketing events. (20 hours per week)

 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Telephone and email prospect to generate leads for the sales team
  • Conduct outreach to leads generated by several sources used in house
  • Understand pricing and proposal models
  • Conduct basic product demo for prospective customers
  • Demonstrate the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers
  • Support sales operations initiatives as determined by the VP of Worldwide Sales
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Ideal candidate is a graduating senior, who could be retained as a full-time Associate Account Executive upon graduation

• This individual will possess and attitude of deep commitment to win over the customer by having the sincere desire to serve people.
• Architect and articulate packaging solutions delivered through our distribution model by planning strategic development of a core client base and always be prospecting for new clients.
• Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of key customers and targets.
• Identify cost savings gaps & opportunities with the customer’s environment and utilize all Victory Packaging’s packaging resources and services to build solutions, implement the plan and document successes.
• Work with the full management team to establish a sales budget, strategies and tactical sales plans by product line, customer, and market.
• Closely follow all established policies, guidelines and pricing for customer accounts and service.
• Provide timely feedback to management team regarding service failures or customer concerns.
• Partner with branch operations and corporate directives to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations.
• Utilize technology, such as e-mail and company contact management software, to more rapidly respond to customer needs and request for information.

Additional Functions/Job Duties
• Attend sales and vendor meetings and training sessions as required.
• Other possible duties as assigned.

PES Open Golf Tournament

PES OPEN GOLF TOURNAMENT| Spring 2017

PES Open Charity Golf Tournament is a student-run event offered by the Program for Excellence in Selling. It allows students to gain real sales experience in that students are required to register participants and service their clients. The event is offered bi-annually, it is a great way to network with Houston area business leaders and students from the #1 sales program in the nation.
