Inside Sales Representatives

Part Time: $15/hr + Commission, Inside Sales for Tech Support (Houston – Galleria Area) 

We are looking to hire inside sales representatives that can close sales on the phone in a call center environment. You also need to be capable of diagnosing computer issues by remotely connecting to customer’s computers. Most customers will be residential users and there is no cold calling.

Typical issues that convert into sales:
– Virus/Spyware removal
– PC tune-ups
– Printer installation and troubleshooting
– Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8 troubleshooting
– Home networking setup
– Online backup consultation
– Email setup
– Digital camera and iPod setup

You must be familiar with these types of computer issues in order to communicate with the customer about their computer issues and provide them with the appropriate tech support plan. You will talk with customers primarily on the phone but also through chat and email.

1) Customer calls our 1-800 number with a computer problem
2) Sales rep gathers initial customer information and starts diagnosing their issue
3) Sales rep provides customer with a link to start the remote desktop session
4) Sales rep points out specific issues on the customer’s computer
5) Sales rep explains the benefits of our support plans and makes the sale
6) Customer is then transferred to a support technician to start fixing the computer remotely
7) Sales rep is now available to sell the next customer

Full Time: Inside Sales – $40k to $60k (Houston, TX)

The Account Development Representative will be responsible for generating new business by prospecting for new customers/accounts, qualifying their needs, selling appropriate FLS systems and services, and developing strong customer satisfaction via phone, email, and web contact. This position is primarily inside sales. Ideal candidate must have ability to be resilient in the face of rejection, maintain a positive and assertive attitude, and strong work ethic.

Essential Duties:

  • Business to business sales calls and cold calling, primarily by phone, are a must

Overal Responsibility:

Interns are expected to make approximately 100 to 120 phone calls per day to area businesses and to utilize e-mail/Social Media (LinkedIn) to set appointments for outside Account Executives. This position is a learning position for outside sales. Successful Interns are evaluated for full-time employment upon graduation and for part-time assignments during the remaining of their collegiate years.

Interns are will attend weekly sales meetings on Monday’s and attend approximately 20% to 25% of the appointments set with experienced Account Executives as a learning experience for future outside sales. Interns may be assigned proposal generation and Return On Investment assignments by their mentor as further learning assignments. Regular product and application training is provided during the Internship. Interns will also work closely with corporate marketing for collaboration on e-mail campaigns to augment the phone calls and appointment setting.
